Mason is one of my favorites and I love it when he pops up on my Instagram.
I forgot to take pictures as I was making it, but I did crack it back open to take a picture for this.
I’m not going to lie, I’ve had a few bites and it’s absolutely delicious!!! I cannot wait for tomorrow morning so I can actually have a slice!
Justin hates broccoli, so I substituted a bag of frozen spinach instead. I also added some baked chicken. I made this normally last week and it was great, but those were J’s recommendations so I figured I would give them a shot.
Also, instead of baking it immediately, I portioned them out into five different containers and decided to make one every night for the next day.
See, this is what I’m talking about…I experiment. I try different things to see what really works.
That’s right, another Mason recipe.
I haven’t tried this one before either, so we shall see. I am very picky about my chicken pot pie, so I am actually a little nervous.
I didn’t have any nutmeg but I saw in one of the reviews that someone else used paprika, so I tried that instead. I also packaged them in individual tiny loaf pans to pop in the freezer. Then I will bake them every night when I want one.
Fingers crossed they are good!
This is now my freezer… (The Tex Mex Lasagna is in the fridge)
I label the containers/bags with oven temperature and how long the recipe says to bake for. That way I don’t have to remember or try to look up the recipe again.
And yes, I keep my ClingWrap in a freezer. Either someone told me about it or I read it somewhere that it helps to keep it from sticking to itself…I think it works? Who knows at this point.
