Sugar.

My sister has an autoimmune disorder. One of the things she has decided to try was to remove sugar from her diet for 30 days. In order to help her with this, us other two have decided to join her. Today is the beginning. I’m a little nervous. I have been looking into the withdrawal symptoms. I don’t think this will be pretty.

Apparently I can look forward to:

Anxiety

Depression

Impulsive Behavior

Hunger and Cravings

Headaches. Lots and lots of headaches.

Low Energy

Muscle aches, nausea, insomnia, and boredom.

Luckily most of the articles I read say that most of the symptoms only last for the first seven days or so. I really, really hope that it’s true.

I am going to be taking it one day at a time.

I just need to stay prepared, always have a healthy snack with me.

Drink lots of water.

This is going to be great!
