Real Life with a Touch of Sarcasm

The Beginning.

Starting a blog is rough. So many decisions to make, like design, font, color, pictures..the list goes on and on (shout out to my main man for helping with all that). I may slowly change things as I get used to how stuff works. I love change. I will try to keep it to a minimum though so you don’t get to confused.

First of all, I want to thank you for visiting my page. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I figured I should just get the basics out-of-the-way so we can get to the fun stuff. At this time, I am a 27-year-old newly wed(ish). I grew up in the small town of Hanover, Ks, population about 800 something. I tried college, didn’t really work for me. I always said I wanted to travel the world. So far that hasn’t happened, but I still believe it will, only now it will be with my husband at my side. A little over a year ago in May of 2015 I met my husband Justin through We got engaged in September and we were married in November 2015, with perfect weather I might add.

We lived in my hometown area for a few months but last month we moved to Manhattan, Ks. It’s a little bit bigger than I’m used to. I love small towns so it has been interesting. Having to use cross walks, not saying hello to every person you walk by, and so much more.

I plan on talking about everything here. No topic is off-limits. I love movies, tv and books, hiking, swimming and softball, trying new kinds of French Fries and other weird foods, cooking wacky stuff and trying to create cool things, and I adore spending time with my family and friends. I can be awkward, yet awesome. Frightened, yet fearless.

I will try anything at least once (within reason).

I hope you enjoy going through this journey  with me, almost as much as I will.

Have a safe and happy 4th of July!
